The Weaponize-Your-Body program offers a proven approach to teaching self-protection coaching. We equip our clients with a deep understanding of threat physiology and psychology as well as the physical skills needed to survive. It’s a practical, no-nonsense, easily learned primer to developing empty hand self-preservation skills. This course focuses not only on the physical techniques, but developing situational awareness, managing threat physiology and Verbal jiu-jitsu de-escalation techniques. Our goal in the Weaponize-Your-Body program is to teach participants how to engage, mold, and apply their primal survival system to effectively neutralize an interpersonal violent threat. In order to be truly effective in the real world, one must have a grasp of the other 3 pillars we teach including boxing, jiu-jitsu, and fitness.
Introducing the Weaponize-Your-Body (WYB) Program: The Ultimate in Real-World Self-Preservation Training. Crafted by Rodney King, a luminary in defensive tactics, risk management and martial arts, this program synthesizes the most effective elements of Crazy Monkey Defense, Crazy Monkey Jiu-Jitsu, and our advanced EDGED weapons defense system. The WYB Program is structured around our innovative 'quick-action learning process', ensuring rapid skill acquisition even under time constraints. This approach makes it ideal for professionals in high-pressure roles such as security, law enforcement, military operations, and risk management. But its applicability extends beyond these fields, offering robust self-protection techniques to organizations seeking to empower their staff with confidence and safety skills.
We focus on the physiological changes that take place in an interpersonal violent experience, with tactics to help participants deal with those automatic changes.
In this section of training, we teach participants how to ensure that they are situationally aware, understand what that means, and how to both develop and deploy it as a skill.
Sometimes going hands on with a potential threat isn’t desirable. In this section of training, we introduce participants to our COATS method of de-escalation, and other strategies and tactics.
Here we focus on high percentage, easily learned primal defense and offensive tactics. Participants learn how to keep themselves physically safe as we offer a varied spectrum of physical force solutions.
